Galatians 2:20 (King James Version)
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Funny, then, how you question just about everything that a democrat says, and inherently trust anything that is said against them. Is God a Republican? Or is your “faith” focused more on mortal means than divine?

Actually that couldn’t be further than from the truth. I question all parties and stand by those whom I feel best serve our country. I had many issues with the way President Bush handled our immigration problems, foreign policy, seeking foreign council, and much more. But he was not surrounding himself with so many questionable people as is the current administration, there seem to be a much greater amount with Obama. I am certain that God does not take sides either, it is not the person, it is the actions.

Looking over your blog, I found myself wondering, “Who is the ‘we’?” In other words, when you say ‘our’, ‘us’, and the like, to whom are you referring?
Marshall’s point above is well taken. After all, you do have a Scripture of the week next to a Reagan quote of the week. Are these ‘truth’ on an equal level?
So again, is your “we” the Christian “we” or the Republican “we” or the American “we”? Your blog title is ‘Uncontrained Truth’, which is right next to a gigantic American flag. No offense, but it makes for legitimate questions. I believe that the only “unconstrained” or complete or whole Truth is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who reconciled the world to himself. Politics, American or otherwise, Republican or otherwise, are a far cry from the truth of the Risen Lord. I am not trying to call you out here, but only to clarify the issues. I invite you to check out my blog before deciding that I am a “liberal.”

I would love to answer your questions, but I do not understand which “we” you are referring to. In some cases I mean my wife and I, some the conservative mind set, some Christian, it really depends on which “we” you are referencing. As for the name of my blog, I respect your belief, but I believe that the truth can be found in all things. However, yes, God and his son Jesus Christ are the only things that we can put our whole faith in without any reservation. If you notice, my “Scripture of the Week” comes first. I quote Reagan because I admired his wisdom and tack in his handling of his life and presidency.

I like the way you think. I’m glad I stumbled upon your blog. King James Version is the ONLY version I trust to not be tainted. Not to mention all of the wonderful study tools that go with it (Strong’s concordance).
I think you found a new blog-follower. 😉 I’m DangerB. Nice to meet you!

Thank you, it is nice to meet you as well. I agree, KJV is my favorite too, but I do also use the NKJ for writing sometimes. I look forward to having you join the conversations DangerB.

Excellent. My fiance’ is a minister so I get a lot of the “good book” in my life. You and I have a lot in common! Conservative, Christians who love the King James Version, admiration for Ronald Reagan. We’re gonna get along just fine! 🙂

I completely agree with you, truthdetective, you are spot on when you say it is not the peron but their actions. To me, that actually sums up people generally!

If you don’t mind I want to say Christ was not the son of the God. He is the beloved prophet of God.
