News travels quickly whether good or bad. And that goes for even the news surrounding the 2016 Olympics which President Obama and the first lady spent a large amount of time and tax dollars lobbying for to be held in their adoptive home town of Chicago Illinois. Ignoring important national priorities such as Iran’s deception about their hidden nuclear facility, the unemployment rate in the US still rising, and the failing war in Afghanistan; President Obama thought it was imperative that he take nearly a week to fly to Denmark and plead his case as to why the Olympics should be in Chicago in 2016. The first lady Michelle Obama, felt it was so important that she even said it was a “sacrifice” for her, President Obama, and (can’t leave out our elite friends) Oprah.

Obama’s decision to spend so much time on the 2016 Olympics rather than other world issues is even frowned upon by world leaders such as those in France, Britain, and China. Obama’s disregard for the true national priorities were a testimony to them of the lack in leadership that the new President possesses. It goes to show, Obama can grovel and try to impress the world as much as he wants, but he will ultimately lose respect for not leading. Losing Chicago serves them right for allowing it to take precedence over the other matters of national importance.

After all, it is not advertising, bowing down, or a utopian ideology that has made America great. It is our freedom and our strength. It is the resolve in the past to not go down without a fight, and to take on anyone that threatens the freedom and liberty of our nation. It is the determination of our past leaders to see to the issues that effect us most as a nation and handle them in the strongest, and fastest way in the best interest of the people.

As the President of the United States of American, President Barack Obama had no business blind siding the important issues at home and abroad, wasting precious time and money, for a silly aspiration of the Olympics in his home town.

On a lighter note, check out this video footage which I find quite comical of the reaction to the loss of the 2016 Olympics in Chicago:

There will be more video to come, there is a certain one I am looking for right now.
