The unprecedented increase in unemployment has no doubt effected every U.S. citizen in one way shape or form. If you have not been laid off, then chances are you are close to someone who has been. You probably even have one or more within your family that has been let go in the past year. It touches the  heart to hear of loved ones losing so much and then struggling month after month to find a way to replace the lost income. But who has been hurt the most throughout this financial recession? Believe it or not, it is the majority of those who voted Barack Obama into the Presidency, it is the Democrats and Independents.

Back in January of this year, when the unemployment rate was at 7.6%, many blamed President Bush for the unemployment disaster. And while he did play his own part in allowing the first stimulus package and the buy out of many banks, it was made dramatically worse by President Obama. Obama did not allow the economy to simply heal on its own, he pushed to further the national debt, crippling the U.S. dollar, and all the while convincing many Americans that it was the proper course of action to stimulate the economy.

President Obama and the mainstream media has since then lied numerous times telling the public the economy is growing, that unemployment rates are improving, and that we are going in the “right” direction. This could not be further than from the truth. And yet, his loyal followers, who are taking the brunt of the economic crisis, still listen and believe with unemployment now at a staggering 10.2%.

Why is it that those who are suffering the most from this situation continue unfailing support of the Obama administration? Is it that so many have grown so dependent on the government that they are still encouraged by the empty promises of Obama? Perhaps it’s the vainess of sticking beside one’s own race without question? Or maybe it is like rooting for your favorite football team, no matter what you will go with your political party for better or for worse. Many Americans regardless of social standing do not like to admit when they have made a mistake. What ever the case is, I think it can be all of the above. Sadly, according to Rasmussen Reports it is Obama’s supporters, the Democrats and the minority population, that are being hit the hardest by unemployment.

The data collected by the Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey states:

“Data from Rasmussen Reports national telephone surveys shows that 15.0% of Democrats in the workforce are currently unemployed and looking for a job. Among adults not affiliated with either major party, that number is 15.6% while just 9.9% of Republicans are in the same situation.”

How do I know who supported Obama the most? As reported by BBC News on exit polls in their article Who Voted For Obama, he had the most support from first time voters, young voters, Democrats, and minority groups. And ironically, 62% of those who voted for Barack Obama cited that the economy was their main factor. Since his appointment to office, it has only worsened and regressed at a rate that no one ever thought possible.

What has our President that promised so much hope and change done to improve our economic woes? Why, he has made them far more and far worse. If you were in deep financial debt would you try to get out by spending more money? No, of course not. You would hunker down and take out the frivolous things in your life to make up the difference while paying back what you owe little by little. Yet, this administration instead took it upon themselves to spend not only our money, but our children and our grandchildren’s money, in the hopes of stimulating an economy that had already been overspent.

Those who were in financial trouble would have been better off to slip into bankruptcy and to lose a few jobs rather than to become slaves to the federal government who bought out their stocks to “save” them. No company is too big to fail. Instead, the deeds of the Obama administration has bankrupted the entire nation and left us in debt to other countries. In the meantime, those who provide the unshaken support of our President suffer the hardest in false hope that he will somehow rescue them by paying their gas and mortgage. Is the Democrat party so hungry for power that they are willing to make more people dependent on the government in supplying their every need like with this healthcare bill, giving them the power over our very health and well-being? It will spiral America into more economic hardship and leave us at the mercy of the country with the greatest stock in America (a.k.a. China). In a once Republic nation that is now resembling a socialist/communist country, how ironic that we look to China for support at this time. (Why else did you think Obama is spending so much time over there?)

I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer. – Ben Franklin

There are many types of people who we come across throughout life, most of those to my good fortune have been hard-working, good-natured individuals that are bent on doing right and making an honest living. But on occasion, especially in the recent years, I have met some who are perfectly happy living off of others, or as I use to know it, being freeloaders. I have heard many times over, “Why go get a job when welfare pays more?” Or, “I’m not going to look for a job until my unemployment is almost up because it pays better.” And of course other similar remarks have come about too.

This seems to be an epidemic in our country now. Gone is the “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country,” attitude. It has been replaced with the notion that the government owes you something, if not everything. That you are somehow entitled to things you have never even worked for or tried to achieve. We have become a nation of many who are far too dependent on government for their needs and too selfish to care about the freedoms they give up in place of an easy mediocre life. And so, when big government rears its head as “help” and “hope” they immediately leap onto the train without a thought as to where is it’s true destination.

Once again, as we have seen numerous times in the previous months, Washington is seeking to expand what it seems to be a generous arm to help the people by extending unemployment benefits by up to 20 weeks and also extending the home buyer tax credit. In a 98-0 vote, the Senate passed the $24 billion Worker, Homeownership and Business Assistance Act of 2009 plunging our nation further into unnecessary and unprecedented debt. Will this help the issue with job loss? No, it will only pay those who are unmotivated to stay that way for 20 more weeks at the expense of the taxpayers who are still working. Will it help the economy? No, it will make those who are working hold on to their money that much more knowing that tax increase is inevitable to pay for the multiple bailouts backed by insufficient funds.

All the while it may help few that really are trying desperately to find a job, but it is increasing national debt, enabling freeloaders, and allowing more government control of business. What is needed right now is less spending and less government to get America back on track. This is a bipartisan step in the wrong direction. And with the Obama administration crushing American’s faith in capitalism, ruining the U.S. dollar, implementing unnecessary programs, and pushing to pass more government take over, you can bet that the dependency on the government will only grow at an accelerated pace. It is ironic that those who are in majority at Washington right now are called Progressives because we as a country are clearly regressing. We are moving away from a free society and towards socialism.

Pay attention to the response of the people being interviewed in line for stimulus money in this video.

With the Copenhagen convention just six weeks away and the signing of a historically catastrophic treaty looming in the future, the White House is taking no breaks in working on climate bills that compliment the goals of the Climate Change Treaty. The Senate and Obama administration are wanting to modernize the electrical grids, shift away from oil and coal, and work towards cutting America’s greenhouse gas emissions by 20% over 2005 levels by 2020 and encourage the development of renewable energy sources like wind and solar power. Which will of course lead to a horrible economic hardship for America in itself. All in the name of a cause that doesn’t exist. And in the foot steps of a treaty that is focused on bringing about a new world government.

There has been talk of President Obama not attending the Copenhagen convention this December because he has his Nobel peace prize to accept. However, it is in the same vicinity and with the administration working so hard on bills that parallel the treaty itself  I find it hard to believe that the President won’t be making a visit after his grand acceptance speech. After all, as a Nobel peace prize recipient, he has a duty to be part of the big Climate Change convention that will change the world forever.

I just thought that this article was something that everyone should read. What ever happened to Global Warming? I’m sorry, I forgot, they have changed it to Global Climate Change.  Truth of the matter is for the past decade the Earth has actually been in a cooling stage. According to Phil Brennan on NewsMax.com, “The planet is not warming. Hasn’t warmed since around 1998. Instead, it’s cooling, and scientists say that it’s going to continue to cool for at least the next 20 or 30 years.” As stated in his article, “It’s getting cooler and has been since around the year 2000.” I don’t know about you, but that sure sounds like to me that we might be heading for a new mini-ice age.  Do yourself a favor and read the article on Idaho seed potato crops being threatened by, no not warm weather, but instead extreme cold temperatures. It makes one think twice about why the liberals and progressives are still pushing the Cap and Slave and other “environmentally necessary” programs despite the abundant evidence against warming. Money? I think that is probably the only remaining reason. It will only lay a huge financial burden on the countries trying to implement it. Is this a wise decision during the economic state of the United States of America? Unfortunately, time will tell.  May God help us all.

Another Article On Why Climate Is NOT Effected By Man:

http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/55278

Why is the liberal and socialist Christian perspective on taxing the rich to give to the poor as a good thing so against the teachings of the Bible? First of all, in Exodus 20:15 (NKJ) “You shall not steal…” God specifically states that stealing is wrong and a sin. In the Webster dictionary to steal means: “to take the property of another wrongfully and especially as an habitual or regular practice.” Taking someone’s money could also be interpreted as taking someone’s property. Even though money is used to buy things, it is considered part of someone’s property as long as that person rightfully posses it.  Therefore, it is wrong under biblical means to take that person’s wealth to use it for means which the owner does not wish for it to be spent.

No matter what the cause people do not have the right as stated once again under God’s biblical Ten Commandments to take wealth from others.  Now, I am not saying that the Bible never said that it is not good to give. Quite the contrary, the Bible is full of references where God calls his people to be giving and generous to those who are in need, but it never states that anyone should be forced to give.

In Matthew 19:16-21 (NKJ) is says:

16“And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.”

Jesus was speaking to a rich, young Jewish man who wanted to know what he should do to have eternal life. Jesus began to answer his question by asking him if he has kept all the commandments. The young man stated that he did, but Christ knew the one commandment that the young man did not keep. Worshiping other images other than God, which in this man’s case was money. He simply put more trust in his personal wealth than in his Lord. That is why he needed to give it up to charity. It was not a sin to posses wealth, but rather a sin to believe that wealth was in essence more important and greater than God. So Jesus, in answering his question, told the young man to simply give it all up and follow him. That is were many socialist Christians get it all wrong. Yes, Jesus did say that in Matthew 19:23-24 (KJV):

23Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

Lets look at these verses for a minute. Jesus did say that it is hard for a rich man to enter heaven, but not because of his wealth. He stated many times that the wealthy allow themselves to be overwhelmed with putting more faith in money rather than allowing God to lead them through their life and save them. That is why he said that it is hard to go to heaven when you are rich. When Jesus’ disciples later asked in verse 25 of the same chapter in Matthew ” Who then can be saved?”, Jesus then stated in verse 26, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  Jesus was then letting the disciples know that only through faith in God can the rich man, or any man for that matter, find salvation. That is why Jesus said to the young rich man to give up his riches and follow him. Notice, Jesus never made him do it nor did he ever command his disciples to instruct the church to make it a mandatory cause. Do you want to know why? The answer is simple, if Jesus is not only the son of God, but God himself  incarnated in the man Jesus Christ, why then would he instruct his followers to break one of his own commandments? You see, God is the God of law and justice. God would never go against his own law. That is why he never told his disciples that taking from the rich to give to the poor is a just thing to do. Nor has God in his words ever instructed the government to do like wise. To do this would contradict God’s own nature and existence. That, my friends, will never happen.

We hear little on the news now of the declining economy here in the United States, in fact, we hear that the Stimulus has gone as planned. We hear that the economy is slowly picking up again and that consumer spending is growing. But how can this be when the jobs are being lost at record rates, homes are still being lost, and government is still trying to “spend” it’s way out of a recession? It’s not true, that’s how. And the whole world can see it, and they can see that the tactics of the Obama administration are only making matters worse.

Obama economist jokes: Strategy is communism

News travels quickly whether good or bad. And that goes for even the news surrounding the 2016 Olympics which President Obama and the first lady spent a large amount of time and tax dollars lobbying for to be held in their adoptive home town of Chicago Illinois. Ignoring important national priorities such as Iran’s deception about their hidden nuclear facility, the unemployment rate in the US still rising, and the failing war in Afghanistan; President Obama thought it was imperative that he take nearly a week to fly to Denmark and plead his case as to why the Olympics should be in Chicago in 2016. The first lady Michelle Obama, felt it was so important that she even said it was a “sacrifice” for her, President Obama, and (can’t leave out our elite friends) Oprah.

Obama’s decision to spend so much time on the 2016 Olympics rather than other world issues is even frowned upon by world leaders such as those in France, Britain, and China. Obama’s disregard for the true national priorities were a testimony to them of the lack in leadership that the new President possesses. It goes to show, Obama can grovel and try to impress the world as much as he wants, but he will ultimately lose respect for not leading. Losing Chicago serves them right for allowing it to take precedence over the other matters of national importance.

After all, it is not advertising, bowing down, or a utopian ideology that has made America great. It is our freedom and our strength. It is the resolve in the past to not go down without a fight, and to take on anyone that threatens the freedom and liberty of our nation. It is the determination of our past leaders to see to the issues that effect us most as a nation and handle them in the strongest, and fastest way in the best interest of the people.

As the President of the United States of American, President Barack Obama had no business blind siding the important issues at home and abroad, wasting precious time and money, for a silly aspiration of the Olympics in his home town.

On a lighter note, check out this video footage which I find quite comical of the reaction to the loss of the 2016 Olympics in Chicago:

There will be more video to come, there is a certain one I am looking for right now.

There is a lot going on in the world today, and that is especially true for the United States of America. On top of an unsteady economy, there are nuclear threats to our allies from Iran, North Korea testing war heads, the world wanting to dump the American dollar, the losing war in Afghanistan, and countless other foreign and domestic issues that require the attention of the US Commander in Chief. But where is our President? Aside from a meeting here and there for what President Obama calls “foreign policy”, he can be found working out, playing 18 holes of golf, enjoying tax funded concerts, hosting tax funded dinners, and as of recently, pulling for the 2016 Olympics to be held in Chicago. I sure am glad he has his priorities straight.

President Obama felt it was necessary to fly to Denmark to lobby for the Olympics in 2016 to be held in the US city of Chicago, elevating this “issue” to a matter of national importance. It is the first time EVER in history that an American President has appeared before the Olympic Committee to bring the games to the country.

I suppose our other international matters are not as pressing. After all, nuclear threats, failing economy, debates in the White House over numerous bills, are not what America needs to focus on at this time. Right? And when you can spend your time and tax payers’ dollars on fun, who wouldn’t take advantage of the down time? You can simply ignore the warnings of a losing war, let other foreign leaders handle the terrorists, and tell the American people things are going great. Oh, and to make yourself look better be sure to get on TV a lot. You know, make advertisements for late night television, hang out with Jay Leno, and appear on every news station to voice your agenda (except for the conservative ones, you wouldn’t want any confrontation).

I think that President Obama is treating his presidency more like a multi-billion dollar company that needs only selective attention rather than a country with a variety of matters. He pays little attention to the issues that do need his immediate attention and blows off the ideas and recommendations of anyone that has conflicting ideas for Obama’s agenda. He has not met with House Republicans since April to review the over 800 amendments they have proposed. He has only spoken with General McChrystal, whom he put in charge of the war in Afghanistan, one time since appointing him even after the warning of losing the war and the request for more troops. Obama treated the G20 Summit like a tree huger convention with a touch of one world planning, and spends a lot of his time relaxing, touring over seas, sight seeing, and lobbying for the Olympics. The only thing I have seen a lot of effort on from the President is his health care reform agenda in which there has been much time spent covering up lies, keeping the people who are for it convinced, and making sure that no one knows that the “other side” has offered many alternatives. I am all for “family night” and a little weekend down time, but Obama seems to do it quite often and not just on the weekends. The election is over Mr. President, it is time to take charge and protect and serve your country as you have promised.

You may think that the story of President Obama electing to have John Holdren as the head of his Science and Technology Policy department as old news, but with the recent fear mongering of the swine flu, global warming, and other such events, I believe it is very much still a live story in need of more research. At first glance in researching John Holdren you will find that in the 1970’s he was a major adjocate for compulsory abortions in the U.S. and a “Planetary Regime”.

Having co-authored Ecoscience, it was well known John Holdren’s stance on population control and the repercussions thought at the time of letting people breed freely. The methods to unknowingly sterilize a population included methods tried by the Nazi’s, Soviet’s, and communists such as adding infertility drugs to a national food or water supply, and forced abortion to name a few. It also goes into a radical and unrealistic stance on what could happen if population were to get out of control in reference to resources and environmental impact. Like I said before, this is all very easy to find.

Now, the not so easy to find was the recent opinions of Mr. Holdren. In 1995 he also co-authored an essay called, The Meaning of Sustainability: Biogeophysical Aspects, published by the World Bank on the need to eventually have “world of zero net physical growth” and “population limitation” to sustain economic activity (ummm…very interesting considering the current economic events). Now suddenly, upon being appointed to a position in the White House his opinions change? In his White House interview he explained as stated by www.wnd.com, “when asked if he still felt population control was appropriate, health care and opportunities for women, as well as education, naturally create families more likely to have fewer children, thus solving the potential problems of population growth.” I don’t think so. Someone holding so tightly to a belief for so many years would not let it go so easily. Not to mention, Obama knows Holdren’s past, works, and beliefs having both gone to Harvard. Obama is no dummy, he would not have manged to get elected as President of the United States of America had that been the case.

In conclusion, the question in many minds at this time is if there is a connection between John Holdren’s past and the current events with the economic instability (made worse by the stimulus and will be more so by a passing of health care reform), myths of global warming, and the fear mongering of the H1N1 virus. One would have to wonder, with his new found powers as Science Czar and only having to answer to the President of the United States, not obligated to answer to Congress, John Holdren definitely warrants more scrutiny and a watchful eye on his handling of his office. Our founders would be rolling in their graves if they knew that the President gave such unlimited powers to an unelected official.

The White House now confirms that the national deficit will likely reach upwards of $9 trillion dollars in the next ten years or so due to the new programs passed by President Barack Obama and both Houses. And this doesn’t even include if they get to pass their Health Care Reform which is projected to cost over $1 trillion dollars by itself. The White House representatives say this is due to the severity of the recession. I say it is due to the government getting too involved. Had they let the recession work itself out at least the national deficit would have not been so severe and the American people could look forward to keeping the money they work so hard to earn.

Of course, now President Obama and the Democrats on board with him want to pay for all of this and the health care reform by, you’ll never guess, raising taxes. Oh wait, didn’t Obama run on a promise NOT to raise taxes on the upper middle class and lower? That won’t happen now. There is a lot of discussion on raising taxes on everything like fast food, anything with sugar, more on oil, rental properties, eliminating itemized tax deductions, and several others on the oil industry which means even higher than seen before gas prices. If you think this doesn’t apply to the common citizen, think again. Aside from the high gas and consumer goods prices, most of these taxes are going to be on your employers and landlords. This means less pay for you, or no job at all, and higher rent payments. Yep, Obama sure is fixing the economy! Fixing it for doomed failure.
