Just recently President Obama was caught holding a radical anti-American book.  Apparently, the President was reading this book on one of his overseas trips. Why would our President be reading something that does not inspire American greatness, but instead speaks about the decline of our once great nation?

In this book “The Post-American World”, written by Fareed Zakaria America is in a state of decline. It states that some kind of world order is starting to rise up led by countries like Russia, China, and India, and that it is starting to surpass America as the leading nation economically and militarily. Basically, this book suggests that America must not pursue superpower superiority, but rather learn to get along with the rest of the world.

One would have to wonder why our President would want to read such liberal crap. Does he believe what Fareed Zakaria states not only in his book, but also in the interview he has given in recent times to the likes of the BBC? I for one hope not. I was, along with many other Americans, raised to believe that America is the greatest country that has ever been in existence since the beginning of civilization. We achieved that status not by conquering and taking over lands, nor by our diversity, but by simply being free. It is our freedom that makes us great. It is our freedom that makes people all around the world want to live here. It is our can do spirit that inspires when the going gets tough we the people get tougher.

I am afraid that our President does not share that same view point. Instead of speaking about our great country for what it is, we catch him going overseas apologizing for what our country has done wrong in the past. Sure I will admit that we have made some mistakes in the past, but that does not out weigh those things that we have done that were good. We fought two wars in Europe and one in the Pacific just in the last century alone.  Not for conquering, but instead we fought it for liberation of all people. We as a nation sacrificed many of our young men and women for the greater good of freedom. We as a nation freed many around the world. We even in the last eight years freed those in the Middle East from the likes of dictators like Saddam Hussein, and also from the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Not only has America defended the world from tyranny with our great military, but our nation has too often been very generous to other countries in need. Remember the tsunami that hit on December 26, 2004 in the Indian Ocean? Many nations like Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand were the hardest hit. Hundreds of thousands of people not only lost their homes, but also lost their lives. It was the U.S. that sent our naval fleet over there first to provide medical, food, shelter, and personnel to help those countries in their time of need. We did this without even being asked. That, my friends, is what America does. I don’t see that same honorable attitude from our current President. In fact, judging from his reading material it is quite the opposite, he does not represent the American spirit which many patriots have now come to miss.

Two days ago the Associated Press reported that China’s defense minister Liang Guanglie said that his country’s military has acquired enough sophisticated weapon systems that it is now considered equal to many developed countries in the West. With all the wealth China has been acquiring from making products for the companies in the United States it has been able to, for the past decade, be able to buy many of the latest military hardware. From J-10 fighter jets, the latest tanks, navy destroyers, and cruise and intercontinental ballistic missiles. China is quickly modernizing its forces.

This could come at an inopportune time for the US with President Obama continually weakening our military defenses with lack of funding, not providing much needed aid in current situations, and wanting to scrap important defense commodities such as our nuclear arsenal.  Obama thinks that every nation in the world will follow US lead and do away with their nuclear weapons as well, but with China on the mission to ever improve their defense, that seems quite unrealistic. In fact, Liang said, according to AP, that “the military’s goal is to achieve complete mechanization and computerization by 2020 and produce a fully modern force before mid-century.” Let us pray that in our weakened state that we will be on good terms with China and all other nations with a comparable military.

It seems every time we turn around the past few weeks there is more news about the swine flu (H1N1 Virus) and the terrible repercussions of not taking action against it. It is hard to know who to believe and what course of action to take. I for one say to monitor all situations, assess the risks, and act according to what you feel is in your best interest. I have through much digging found that the H1N1 virus may not be as ominous as we are being led to believe. And the actual crisis being somewhat ignored is the increase in worldwide poverty and war. We hear the economy is doing better, things are looking up, we have began to pull out of Iraq and other areas our military have been occupying. But the truth is that violence has been mounting in the middle east, Russia has been up to some pretty questionable acts, and the economy around the world is not doing well at all.

The article below has a lot of valuable information regarding the virus and possible actions taken by the government in reaction to the pandemic. One that really stuck out to me and was alarming stated:

“Based on the model’s “predictions”, mass vaccination of half of the US population is required, with the possible provision for quarantines under civilian and/or military jurisdiction. In the case of the United Kingdom, confirmed by British press reports, the government has predicted a rising death toll requiring the provision of mass graves.”

This is just a small portion of the information contained in the link below. It also speaks of doctors being threatened if they reveal the manipulated data. As I said before, just take in all the information you can and act accordingly. If a month or two passes with no really safety issues arising from the vaccines then consider taking it just as a precaution as with any other vaccine, but don’t readily believe everything you hear from the mainstream media. There are other issues out there not being addressed that need to have a lot more attention than this virus so far.

Obama, once again, is showing his true muslim roots by mingling with the muslim world and turning his back on one of the strongest allies we have in the Middle East (Israel).  Israel has been a huge support to us for so many years both militarily and in intelligence gathering. Talk about stabbing your friends in the back. The Palestinian people have done nothing to deserve the kind of respect that we are giving them. I cannot believe that our nation has decided to turn our backs on friends and move towards a cold hearted people who are even willing to allow their own children to blow themselves up along with innocent civilians in the name of Allah and for Palestine.
