There is a lot going on in the world today, and that is especially true for the United States of America. On top of an unsteady economy, there are nuclear threats to our allies from Iran, North Korea testing war heads, the world wanting to dump the American dollar, the losing war in Afghanistan, and countless other foreign and domestic issues that require the attention of the US Commander in Chief. But where is our President? Aside from a meeting here and there for what President Obama calls “foreign policy”, he can be found working out, playing 18 holes of golf, enjoying tax funded concerts, hosting tax funded dinners, and as of recently, pulling for the 2016 Olympics to be held in Chicago. I sure am glad he has his priorities straight.

President Obama felt it was necessary to fly to Denmark to lobby for the Olympics in 2016 to be held in the US city of Chicago, elevating this “issue” to a matter of national importance. It is the first time EVER in history that an American President has appeared before the Olympic Committee to bring the games to the country.

I suppose our other international matters are not as pressing. After all, nuclear threats, failing economy, debates in the White House over numerous bills, are not what America needs to focus on at this time. Right? And when you can spend your time and tax payers’ dollars on fun, who wouldn’t take advantage of the down time? You can simply ignore the warnings of a losing war, let other foreign leaders handle the terrorists, and tell the American people things are going great. Oh, and to make yourself look better be sure to get on TV a lot. You know, make advertisements for late night television, hang out with Jay Leno, and appear on every news station to voice your agenda (except for the conservative ones, you wouldn’t want any confrontation).

I think that President Obama is treating his presidency more like a multi-billion dollar company that needs only selective attention rather than a country with a variety of matters. He pays little attention to the issues that do need his immediate attention and blows off the ideas and recommendations of anyone that has conflicting ideas for Obama’s agenda. He has not met with House Republicans since April to review the over 800 amendments they have proposed. He has only spoken with General McChrystal, whom he put in charge of the war in Afghanistan, one time since appointing him even after the warning of losing the war and the request for more troops. Obama treated the G20 Summit like a tree huger convention with a touch of one world planning, and spends a lot of his time relaxing, touring over seas, sight seeing, and lobbying for the Olympics. The only thing I have seen a lot of effort on from the President is his health care reform agenda in which there has been much time spent covering up lies, keeping the people who are for it convinced, and making sure that no one knows that the “other side” has offered many alternatives. I am all for “family night” and a little weekend down time, but Obama seems to do it quite often and not just on the weekends. The election is over Mr. President, it is time to take charge and protect and serve your country as you have promised.

Today, September 23, 2009, President Obama addressed the United Nations General Assembly for the first time in his presidency. In what sounded like more of a sales pitch than a speech, Obama almost immediately starts with summing up what he has “accomplished” during his first 9 months in office. Recapping everything from closing Guantanamo Bay to the billions of dollars flushed down the toilet investing in “clean energy”. He seemed anxious to make himself look good for the very little he has done. And, of course, there was heavy focus on climate change and what we should supposedly do about this non existing problem that will inevitably bring about the world’s economic collapse all on it’s own. But, I will not go into the whole “climate” issues discussed (the very last link at the bottom of this post goes into climate change) because I am personally growing tired of the same old rhetoric and lies in regards to the false notion that man can somehow destroy what God himself has made.

One of the President’s other main focuses was on what seems to me promises and hopes of a false peace. One of the ways is by¬† a treaty to have every nation end having nuclear weapons. He told the U.N. General Assembly, “I have outlined a comprehensive agenda to seek the goal of a world without nuclear weapons.” Obama thinks that through this treaty that the world will somehow negotiate a “world without nuclear weapons.” If that isn’t the biggest load of manure I have ever heard! Yes, I can see every nation trusting the others to lay down all their weapons. I really doubt that will truly happen. Obama even suggested that countries such as Iran and North Korea “must face consequences,” but he did not specify what that would be. He did say that America would be holding up their end of the bargain, so we can look forward to Obama further weakening our military and our means of protecting our nation.

The other false peace, that which we know will never happen, Israel and Palestine living peacefully with a 2 state solution. First of all, it is not our land to give Palestine. We have no right to try to force the Israelis out of their land. But, Mr. Obama seems to think that he does. He said “the time has come to re-launch negotiations without preconditions that address the permanent status issues: security for Israelis and Palestinians, borders, refugees, and Jerusalem.” I do not know what the solution is for the Palestinians, but I do know that we can not force Israel to give up their own land. This will never bring peace.

Now, the part of President Obama’s speech that caught my attention the most was a seemingly sneaky way of talking about world order. Or maybe not so sneaky, this is the first part that really opened up that topic with Obama stating:

“In an era when our destiny is shared, power is no longer a zero-sum game. No one nation can or should try to dominate another nation. No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed. No balance of power among nations will hold.”

President Obama then continues to tell the General Assembly that they don’t want to be the generation that dragged the arguments of the 20th century into the 21st, but rather they should be the generation “that comes together to serve the common interests of human beings, and finally gives meaning to the promise embedded in the name given to this institution: the United Nations.” So, the ground work for a “new world order” is being placed. It seems that Obama feels more at home being the “President” of the world, than he does the President of the United States.

As far as I know, no sitting President in the United States has ever made so many apologies or bashed America so much as Obama has in his thus far short term. He has insulted our past presidents  and the American people as a whole in the way that he bows down (literally and figuratively) before foreign leaders with no regard for the dignity and exceptionalism of the United States of America. No country has ever so deeply sacrificed or given so much blood for the cause of freedom and happiness around the world. Yet, Obama seems only to be concerned in selling him self to the rest of the nations on earth. God help us all.

We have seen the issue of Barack Obama’s eligibility everywhere since the election. It has been on everything from the highest ranking media to eBay. And yet no one knows for sure where our President was born. Sure there was the release of a Hawaiian birth certificate. But that did not include the important information, it only contained the “short form”, and as of now, President Obama has refused to release the “long form” of his birth certificate. This is actually the only reason I have personally questioned his birth. He is simply making himself look guilty by not releasing the “long form”, instead it has been taken up by a man by the name of Lucas Smith. Who, although has a criminal history, claims it is because of who he is that he was able to obtain such documentation from the Kenyan government. Not to mention, family of the President saying that he was born in Kenya makes it all that much more questionable.

Evidently what Mr. Smith has is pretty convincing, because a California judge has scheduled a trial for January 26, 2010. The arguments for the case are set to begin on January 11. We have already seen a great deal of coverage on this issue. But I know that is about to go up ten fold. The signs, protests, articles, and demands from the public will more than likely be coming in at even greater amounts than we have seen before. But for those of us who can’t tangibly see the documentation for ourselves we will have to follow all of this media circus from now until then sorting through those who are in it just to support their vote. It should be an interesting ride.
